UTI Rancho Cucamonga campus to host NHRA Full Throttle FanFest

 (October 23, 2009) – Universal Technical Institute, a long time partner of NHRA and NHRA Youth Education Services (Y.E.S.) program, will host a NHRA Full Throttle FanFest Sunday November 7th at the UTI Rancho Cucamonga Campus. The FanFest is open to the public from 9am to 3pm. Vendors and sponsors from NHRA’s Nitro Alley along with Top Fuel and Funny Car dragsters will participate in the FanFest.
An additional FanFest highlight is the U.S. Army High School Automotive Challenge. Preliminary rounds will take place during the FanFest with twenty plus Southern California high school auto programs competing in an automotive skills competition including written and hands on testing. The Semi-finals and finals will be held at the 21st Annual NHRA Career Opportunities Fair presented by the U.S. Army at Auto Club Raceway at Pomona on November 10th, 2009.
